“It was my privilege to have worked with Shams since 2019," he added.

"He will be remembered for his strong leadership and direction during his tenure, as well as his acute business acumen and wisdom.”

“The world is all the poorer for the loss of Shams. His humility, dignity, and respect for humanity were unrivalled. He leaves behind a rich legacy to which many can only aspire. Our deep sense of loss is tempered only by the knowledge that his was a life well-lived.”  concluded Paballo Makosholo, CEO of KTH.

The board has extended their sincerest condolences to Sham’s family and friends.
