KwaDukuza Municipality to investigate officers conduct in Ballito scuffle video
The KwaDukuza Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal is investigating an incident that led to a scuffle between two of its Metro Peace Officers and a father and child.
This comes after the video of the incident went viral on social media.

KwaDukuza Municipality spokesperson, Sipho Mkhize, says from the information they have gathered the family contravened the disaster management act by going outside the regulated time for walks.
"Up until the time you see the video, there seems to have been an exchange of words between the offices and the gentleman in the video who proceeded to go home and close the gate.
"We just want to says we do not condone what happened in the video, particular the behaviour of our officers on the ground. Tomorrow [Tuesday] morning we’ll be having a formal inquiry with the officers' concern to get their side of the story," says Mkhize.
Mkhize says a case has been opened against the father, who is facing charges of breaking the lockdown measures and entering a place that has been closed off for the public.
