KZN police comb scene of double murder

Two dead bodies have been discovered in the bushes of KwaMashu, north of Durban, in KwaZulu-Natal.

The women, believed to be in their 20s, were discovered by the community on Tuesday. 


It’s understood the women were found with gunshot wounds to the head. 


KZN police spokesperson Jay Naicker says two charges of murder have been opened.  


“The members of the community immediately contacted police officers at KwaMashu who attended to the scene.“


Details surrounding the murders remain sketchy. 


“Detectives are currently conducting an investigation at the crime scene,” Naicker adds.
