KZN police hunting for gunmen who killed eThekwini employee
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
KZN police are investigating the murder of a female eThekwini water staff member.
The woman was gunned down in Ottawa, north of Durban on Saturday while working to dispense water in the community.
Provincial police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says they’re trying to track down the suspects.
It's unclear if the incident is related to the growing frustrations and tensions due to the lack of water caused by disruptions from the recent floods.
Meanwhile, eThekwini Municipality has also called on law enforcement teams to leave no stone unturned in their investigation.
