Search and rescue teams have discovered the body of another victim of the Ladysmith flash floods, bringing the local death toll from the Christmas Eve disaster to 24.
Mayor of the Alfred Duma Local Municipality, Zama Sibisi headed up an extensive search on Friday.
He says a man’s body was found while teams were scouring Peter's River.
He says the search will continue on Saturday.
"There is a body that was found in the river, it was supposed to be the last one. There is one person who is still missing, so if this body belongs to one of the families - it is going to be the last missing person."
