[UPDATE] Power supply to large parts of Joburg restored
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
City Power said on Saturday that it was experiencing an outage from early morning due to loss of power at our central incomer substation in Fordsburg.
According to City Power's Isaac Mangena, the trip happened on Eskom's side at around 3am.
"It is not yet clear what caused the trip," said Mangena.
By 9am the power was restored though, according to a Tweet from City Power.

* Newtown,
* JHB Central,
* Mayfair,
* Kibler Park,
* Naturena,
* Alvida,
* Devland,
* Olifantsvlei,
* Eldoradopark,
* Lenasia,
* Riverlea,
* Bosmont,
* Richmond,
* Brixton, and
* Westdene.
"We appeal to customers for patience and to understand that this is not load shedding," said Mangena.
