Limpopo appoints acting agriculture MEC

Limpopo Premier Stanley Mathabatha has appointed Economic Development MEC, Seaparo Sekoati to also act as MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development following the death last week of Joy Matshoge.
The Premier’s spokesman Kenny Mathivha said Sekoati, the Economic Development and Rural Affairs MEC, started in her dual role with immediate effect and would be acting until a further determinination was made.
Matshoge died in a car accident a week ago and was given a Provincial Official Funeral at Modimolle on Saturday.
Her funeral was attended by hundreds of community members, including the leadership from political parties the African National Congress, the Democratic Alliance and others.
