Limpopo govt to discuss economic development with Zim

The provincial government in Limpopo will be meeting with Zimbabwean officials on Friday to discuss areas of co-operation.

Limpopo Premier Stan Mathabatha’s spokesperson Kenny Mathivha, says the talks are aimed at economic development in the province.

“Limpopo is one of the bases of the special economic zone, which stretches from Musina to Makhado which is at the border of Zimbabwe and South Africa.”
Mathivha adds that crime levels in the province will also be discussed.
“The premier, representing the South African government, will talk about issues of crime in this region which is alleged to be committed by those outside of the boundaries.”
