Limpopo police nab 23-year-old for dealing in illicit drugs

Police in Seshego have arrested a 23-year-old for alleged possession of and dealing in illicit drugs.
The 23-year-old was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning.
This after police responded to a tip-off.
"The local members of crime prevention were on patrol duties at about 02h30 when they received information about three suspects who were sitting in a motor vehicle and selling drugs," says police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba.
"The suspects allegedly started firing at the Police and immediately pulled off. The Police returned fire and apparently punctured one of the rear wheels.
"The suspects proceeded to drive towards Extension 76 on the outskirts of Polokwane, where two of them jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot into the darkness.
"The third suspect who was the passenger was nabbed. During the process of arrest, the police confiscated crystal meth and cat drugs".
The suspects will appear before the Seshego Magistrates Court soon.
Police investigations are continuing.
