Police in Limpopo strongly condemned the incident in Northam on Wednesday evening.

Police in Limpopo have launched a manhunt for a group of protestors who assaulted seven people when they targeted a number of trucks and an ambulance during unrest on Wednesday night.
"It is alleged that a group of community members went on rampage and engaged in protest actions which obstructed the traffic flow," police say.
The unrest primarily occurred on the R511 between Northam and Brits.
