Limpopo student stabbed 52 times
The 21-year-old student at Capricorn TVET College has died after being stabbed allegedly 52 times in her room.
Limpopo police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo said a neighbour heard screaming during the attack and called the police.
She had been enrolled at the Ramokgopa campus in Mokomene.
“Immediately after receiving a call from the neighbour, who was alerted by the frantic screams of the deceased, the police rushed to the place, and on arrival the found the body of the deceased in a pool of blood.”
Mojapelo says the suspect gained access to the residence through a window.
The motive for the killing is unknown.
