Limpopo teacher arrested for rape

A Limpopo teacher has been arrested for the alleged rape of a 14-year-old learner.
Police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe' Ngoepe says the incident allegedly took place on Friday.
"It is alleged the victim was travelling in the suspects' car, going home from school. On the way the suspect stopped at a certain shop to buy something."

Ngoepe says the suspect then allegedly raped the learner.
"He came back and drove but along the way, he raped the victim inside the motor vehicle and later escorted her home."
Police arrested the suspect soon after the case was reported.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Ritavi Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
