Two teenage boys are expected to appear at the Seshego Magistrate's Court after they were found in possession of a cell phone belonging a murdered minor.
This comes after the body of Tibane Mahanyele turned up at ga-Makweya village on Tuesday.
According to police records, the 11-year-old boy was lured to a soccer match at the neighbouring village the previous day.
A search operation was launched after he failed to return home.
“The initial investigations led the police to the two minors who were found in possession of the cellphone that belonged to the deceased,” said Limpopo police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo.
“Further probe led the police to the spot where the body of the 11-year-old boy was found.”
The 15-year-old suspects will be subjected to assessments by the probation officer before appearing in court.
