Limpopo toddler snatcher to appear in court

A 30-year old male will appear at the Giyani Magistrates' Court in Limpopo for allegedly snatching a 19-month-old toddler away from her mother.
The incident occurred at Shawela Village in Giyani on the third of February.

The mother was visiting the suspect who she met through social media when he allegedly snatched the toddler from her after an argument ensued.
Limpopo police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo says the child has still not been found.
"It is understood the suspect followed her up to the local bus stop where he immediately snatched the child from her and disappeared into the nearby bushes," says Majopalo.
He adds that the motive for the incident is still unknown.
