The search continues for a lion that jumped off a moving vehicle on Sunday.
The search follows the allegations that two lions jumped out of a trailer which was being towed by a bakkie along Gearge's Valley Road outside Tzaneen on Sunday afternoon.

President of the World Farmers Organisation, Theo de Jager, spoke to Jacaranda FM News about what he witnessed.
De Jager says the two lions ran into dense plantations.
"One was darted and captured by local farmers and a vet about an hour later, but the other is still missing," he says.

The driver of the vehicle alleged that the lions were transported from one animal enclosure to another but this is still being verified through the ongoing investigations.
"Members of the Community are warned to be extra careful when moving or traveling in these areas. Anyone who can see this lion, may contact the nearest Police Station or the Police Emergency number 10111," says the police's Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe .
