[LISTEN] Heatwave continues on Monday with little relief in the form of rain

According to the SAWS' Dipuo Tawana, "From our seasonal forecasting we've been saying that we are expecting below normal rainfall for the spring season and extremely hot temperatures."
Heatwave conditions are set to continue on Monday and the SA Weather Service (SAWS) says spring will offer little in the way of relief with very little rain expected.

She notes: "There will be rain, but it won't be significant amounts."

Large parts of the country battled sweltering temperatures this weekend while also contending with load shedding.
However, there will be no load shedding on Monday and Eskom says the probability for load shedding during the week is low.
