[LISTEN] 'Ons is gatvol,' say coloured communities
Updated | By Nathan Daniels & Gaopalelwe Phalaetsile
Thousands of people are taking part in province-wide protest against injustices in coloured communities.

They claim that they are being excluded in substantially participating in the economy and accuse the government of neglecting them.
"The people are gatvol. Enough is enough," says Brenda Johnson a organiser of the protest that flared up in Ennerdale on Friday morning.
Residents blocked several roads with burning tyres and objects.
"Our government is racist. Our children have to work with drug lords because there is no work for them. Why is there no development in our areas, people are staying on top of each other - is that fair?"
Protesters are holding placards which read: "Before we were not white enough, now not black enough".
"We don't want to speak to any people with empty promises. They (government officials) will come here now just to give people handouts. We don't want that. Our children is dying," says a passionate Johnson.
