[LISTEN] There will be no loadshedding this Mother’s Day
Loadshedding will be lifted at 12pm today (Saturday), with
Eskom saying there has been a sufficient recovery of its generation capacity.
It comes after a week during which Stage 2 of the system were rolled out across the country before it was downgraded to Stage 1 on Friday evening.
However, Eskom spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha warns once again that loadshedding could be implemented at short notice, should it be necessary.
