Three construction workers have
been killed after a section of a building collapsed near Wentworth in Durban.
The building is still under construction.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the wall fell onto a water hydrant and a truck.
KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Services spokesperson Robert Mckenzie says several other people were also injured.
“There were five people treated by paramedics at the scene, one person sustained critical injuries, while four patients sustained serious injuries. Emergency officials are at the scene."
He says the bodies of the three construction workers are buried under the rubble.
This is a developing story. More to follow.
