Load shedding set to be eased to stage five at midnight
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Eskom will downgrade load shedding from stage 6 to stage five at midnight.
Spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha says that the power utility managed to return a unit each to Camden, Kriel, Kusile and Kendal on Monday morning.
But a unit had to be taken off at the Duvha power station after the development of a boiler tube leak.

"This means we will be able to reduce load shedding to stage 5 at midnight. Further updates will be announced as soon as possible," says Mantshantsha.
The power utility implemented stage 6 blackouts at 4am on Sunday.
Eskom attributed the increased load shedding to a trip that occurred at Kusile and Kriel power stations.
