M1 double-decker bridge undergoes repairs

The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) will be undertaking repairs to bridge joints on the M1 double-decker Bridge.
The M1 repairs will take place over the coming weekend as well the weekend of 9 and 10 September.
"Traffic from Joburg south and west travelling northbound on the Double Decker Bridge will be affected." says the JRA's Bertha Peters-Scheepers.
The JRA has appealed to motorists to use alternative routes.
Motorists can go to www.jra.org.za to plan their trips and find alternative routes.
