Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Mmusi Maimane says he has never been more proud of his fellow countrymen.

Thousands of South Africans have taken to the streets to protest against President Jacob Zuma, calling on him to leave office.
Maimane addressed DA supporters at Mary Fitzgerald Square, following their march through the Johannesburg CBD.
"I have never been more grateful to the people of South Africa for standing up for South Africa and saying one man cannot defeat the 55 million South Africans, as long as we stand together," said Maimane.
