Major water supply interruptions in Cullinan

Residents of Cullinen is facing some major water supply interruptions due to a leak on a raw water pipeline.
The City of Tshwane says repairs have began.
“It is unfortunate that the complexity of this unforeseen occurrence might result in a longer water restoration period. Early this morning, the Cullinan diamond mine, which is the custodian of the pipeline commences with necessary repairs inclusive of scouring and excavation.
“It is not yet known as to when the repairs would be concluded and the service fully restored”, says spokesperson Lindela Mashigo.

Mashigo confirmed that the city is arranging water takers to supply residents.
Affected areas include the town of Cullinan as well as Refilwe and Rayton.
