Malema: De Klerk deserves to be in prison
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says former President FW De Klerk should be behind bars.
Malema was speaking outside the Newcastle Magistrates Court, where his case was postponed to October. He was charged after calling on his supporters to grab land.
"Thabo Mbeki, Kgalema Motlanthe were having a meeting with De Klerk saying they are looking for solutions of South Africa's problems with De Klerk.
"That is exactly the problem, the recognition of De Klerk as a leader in South Africa. A man who presided over the murder of black people in the early 90s can never find solutions to the problems of South Africa," Malema told his supporters.
Mbeki, Motlanthe and De Klerk were speaking at the National Foundation Dialogue Initiative (NFDI) in Parktown on Friday, which has been convened to find solutions to the problems facing the country
