A man accused of shooting and killing a farm worker while hunting has appeared in the Modimolle Magistrate's Court today.
Stefan Hepburn has been granted R15 000 bail.
Hepburn is said to have been hunting warthogs in Tuinplaas in Limpopo at the time of the shooting.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafelo Mojapelo says Hepburn has to report to the nearest police station every Monday and Friday. In this case it is the Sinoville Police Station in Pretoria.
"He is not allowed to go on or near the farm where the incident took place and he is not allowed to speak or contact the farm workers on the farm," says Mojapelo.
The case has been postponed to 20 April for further investigations.
Mojapelo says there were a few peaceful protesters outside court.
