A man who allegedly robbed, raped, and killed an elderly woman in KwaZulu-Natal was arrested in Soweto, Gauteng police said on Monday.
The man, 22, allegedly attacked the woman, 88, in Paulpietersburg last week, said Lieutenant Kay Makhubela.
"He ran to Soweto and last night [Sunday] the police got information about his whereabouts in Diepkloof hostel," he said.
The man was arrested and would be taken back to KwaZulu-Natal for his court appearance.
