Man commits suicide on N1

Gauteng Traffic Police has warned motorist that is illegal to take pictures of deceased persons.
This after a man committed suicide on the N1 between between Petropoort and Walmansdal on Tuesday morning.
Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Sello Maremane says motorists should drive with caution when approaching the scene and not take pictures of the deceased.

“We are appealing to motorists when they approach the scene they have to drive with caution. We have also noticed that when some motorists approach the scene they are taking pictures.
“We condemn such actions, they are not allowed to be taking any pictures.”
