Man in court for murder of girl (7)
A 31-year-old man has appeared in a North West court for the brutal murder of a 7-year-old girl.
Moses Makoso appeared at the Brits Magistrate' s Court on charges of kidnapping, murder and defeating the ends of justice on Monday.
Makoso was arrested on Friday after confessing to the girl's murder.

"The suspect apparently admitted to killing the girl and took the police to the area where the girl's burnt body was after a long search, found in bushes on Saturday,” says North West police’s Aafje Botma.
The 7-year-old disappeared last week Thursday at Bafhaung Section in Maboloka near Letlhabile while playing with her friends.
She was playing with two ten-year-old boys before her disappearance.
The suspect will be back in court in July, after abandoning his bid for bail.
