Man dies in Bloemfontein accident

A man died when his car veered of the road and crashed into a bridge in Bloemfontein on Monday, paramedics said.
The accident happened on D F Malherbe Road around 5am, Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.
"The crumpled remains of the vehicle were found next to the pillars of the bridge with the driver still trapped in the wreckage."
Jaws of life were used to free the man from the wreckage. He had died due to extensive injuries he sustained, Botha said.
Police were investigating.
