Police in Limpopo have opened an inquest after the body of a man was found in a burning car in Tzaneen.
Police spokesperson Motlafelo Mojapelo says the body of a 36-year-old was found inside the burning car that was parked next to an old building at Sapiko Tea Gardens on Wednesday.
He was employed at a local bank.
"According to information, the car was seen driven to the scene at Sapiko along the R71 road and immediately thereafter it went up in flames," says Mojapelo.
Mojapelo says they are investigating the cause of the fire.
"Foul play is, however, not suspected at this stage," says Mojapelo.
