Man falls from third floor of mall in Menlyn

Emer G-Med paramedics were called to a popular shopping area in the Menlyn area of Pretoria on Thursday morning.

They treated a man who was in a critical condition after falling from the third floor of a popular shopping mall
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen says advanced life support was needed to stabilise the man.
"Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to stabilize him before he was placed onto a mechanical ventilator to assist him in breathing.
"The assistance of the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter was called for and the man was airlifted to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he required.
"The reason for the fall and the events preceding it are unclear and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation,” says Van Reenen
