Man gunned down in apparent taxi-related violence

Police in Sebokeng are investigating the murder of a man who
was gunned down outside his home in Evaton West on Monday.
Sebokeng police spokesperson Teboho Lephoto says the 43-year-old victim was shot several times while sitting in the car.
A person who was with the victim in the car was also injured and rushed to the hospital.
“We are investigating a murder and attempted murder case,” says Lephoto.
He adds at this stage the motive behind the killing is unknown but police suspect it might be related to taxi violence in the area.
