Man nabbed for vandalism of ANC’s KZN headquarters

The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal says the vandalism of its provincial headquarters and the hacking of its Facebook account are too much of a coincidence.
The party's Pixley Ka Isaka Seme House in Durban was vandalised on Sunday.
It's understood someone threw a brick through the front door of the building, damaging it.
The party says its Facebook page has also been hacked.
Provincial spokesperson Nhlakanipho Ntombela says these incidents have raised questions.
"Either it's being planned, but we find it strange that this can be a coincidence that in the space of a day our offices are stoned.
"Immediately thereafter, our Facebook page is hacked, so it tells a story which we can't conclude at this stage. Authorities will give us a clearer picture once they have investigated the matter."
He has urged the public to be wary of their hacked Facebook page or delete it.
Kwa Zulu-Natal police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says one suspect has been arrested.
"We can confirm that Durban Central police arrested a 31-year-old Njabulo Ngubane for malicious damage to property. He appeared on Monday in the Durban Magistrate’s Court and was remanded in custody until 28 February 2022 for bail application."
