A 32-year-old man arrested in connection with the man found dead in a car boot at Montecasino in Fourways was due to appear in court on Friday, said Johannesburg police.
The man was the second to be arrested following the arrest of Maruschka Robinson who appeared at the same court on Wednesday.
She was remanded in custody until October 2.
The two were arrested after Dustan Blom's decomposing body was found in the boot of his own car on Sunday around 1pm after security guards noticed a bad smell coming from it.
"A motive for his murder is still being investigated," said Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini.
The Star newspaper reported on Thursday that Blom was a widower.
His wife, Talita died earlier this year after giving birth to their twins. The children have been in the care of Talita's family.
