Manhunt launched for Bramley killers

Gauteng police have launched a manhunt for three suspects following the death of a man during a house robbery in Bramley.

A 54-year-old man was shot and killed in his home in the northern Johannesburg suburb.

 

Gauteng police's Mavela Masondo says they are searching for at least three suspects.

 

"We are searching for about three armed suspects who allegedly shot and killed a 54-year-old man during a house robbery in Bramley on Sunday morning. It is also alleged that the suspects stole jewellery and cell phones from the house. A case of murder and house robbery have been opened."

 

Netcare 911 spokesperson, Nick Dollman, says paramedics also attended to the victim's wife.

 

"Netcare 911 attended to the 54-year-old man, who appeared to have sustained more than one gunshot wound. The paramedics also attended to the victim's wife. Fortunately she had not been injured during the incident and she remained on scene to assist the police with their investigation."
