Matric exam results don't define your worth - SADAG
Updated | By Princess Mahogo
The Class of 2023 are on tenterhooks as they await the release of the matric exam results.

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga is set to announce the national and provincial matric results on Thursday, while individual results will be released on Friday.
The South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) says more needs to be done to provide the necessary resources to matric pupils while studying and awaiting their results.
Spokesperson Roshni Parbhoo Seetha said pressure and expectations contribute to the anxiety felt by matriculants.
"As a society, we should promote open conversations around mental health. We need to reduce the stigma around mental health, and we need to ensure that access to counselling services to support matriculants during this challenging time is available.
"SADAG would like to remind the class of 2023 that their results do not define their worth. If you are feeling overwhelmed, please, we encourage you to seek support from friends and family or, better even, contact SADAG.
“Parents can support their anxious matric students by creating a supportive environment, encourage them to talk to you and be open with their communication and highlight to them that their results do not determine their future success," she said.
