Mayonnaise crash causes traffic disruptions in Ekurhuleni
Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
The Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) have urged motorists to use alternative routes following dealys on the R21 North at Pomona onramp.

A truck lost its load of mayonnaise during a crash on Monday.
The spilled mayonnaise prompted public looting on the highway
EMPD spokesperson Mari Mashishi says only one lane is open on the R21 North at Pomona, while the onramp is still closed.
"Sanral estimates that it can take up to four to five hours (11am) to clear the highway."
