Mbalula: More arrests expected for suspected human trafficking
Updated | By Gerda de Sousa
Police Minister Fikile Mbalula says they expect their international counterparts to make more arrests in connection with the suspected trafficking of young women to Malaysia.

Mbalula was at OR Tambo International Airport yesterday, where he welcomed back a 24-year-old woman from Bloemfontein.
The woman was lured to Malaysia along with eight other women by an online beauty contest.
Mbalula says this highlights the dangers of social media and cybercrime.
"I'm happy to report that our efforts to bring our girl home, led to all the other potential victims to be freed."
Mbalula says they worked with Interpol and the Hawks once they received the information.
"We also activated our embassy in Malaysia. The operation led to the arrest in Malaysia of a Zimbabwean suspect."
Mbalula says authorities might also make more arrests in South Africa.
