Mid-air collision kills three in Carletonville

The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) has confirmed a fatal mid-air collision involving an Air Tractor and a Cessna 182 aircraft that occurred in Carletonville, Merafong City Local Municipality, on Friday.
A pilot and passenger were on board the Cessna, with one occupant on board the Air Tractor, when the mid-air collision occurred.
SACAA spokesperson Sisa Majola says all occupants were fatally injured with the aircraft destroyed during the accident.
"The Accident and Incident Investigations Division (AIID) team has been dispatched to the accident site to collect evidence that will define the size and scope of the investigation.
"A preliminary report will be issued in 30 days from the day of this accident."
