BUSINESS CONFIDENCE - Business Confidence for the month of August has been dealt a blow, dropping to its lowest point in 16 years. 


Weak economic performance domestically and the global financial market uncertainty has also lead to this current state. 


Efficient Group Economist Francois Stofberg has listed the cost of business, electricity prices, labour unrest and questionable political leadership as the local contributing factors.

PRASA RESPONDS TO PROTECTOR'S REPORT - The Passenger Rail Agency board chairperson, Popo Molefe, says that although they are considering legal steps and internal disciplinary actions at PRASA it should in no way be considered a witch-hunt. 


Molefe has ensured that necessary processes will be followed and that it will all be done in the appropriate amount of time. 


One of the steps include plans for an academic qualifications audit. 


Molefe addressed the media this morning to address the outcomes of Madonsela's report entitled 'Derailed'.

MIGRANT CRISIS - Tensions are rising again in Hungary as a train carrying hundreds of migrants to Austria was been stopped near a refugee camp. 


People are seen banging on the train's window shouting "no camp, no camp". The train from Budapest's main international train station in Hungary after it was closed for two days due to migrants mobbing train to get into Europe.


Whether or not they will be able to cross the Austrian border still lefts to be seen. Around 50,000 refugees have entered Hungary in the last month of August alone.
