Missing skeleton of Mpumalanga cop found

Mpumalanga police say the remains of police officer Johannes Engelbrecht (62) have been found.
The bones of the late police captain were reported missing at a government mortuary in Standerton on Friday.
Mpumalanga spokesperson Leonard Hlathi says they were found in KwaZulu-Natal.
"All we know is that there was a family which collected two corpses, and in the process when they were taking the clothes of the deceased; they also took the bones [Engelbrecht's remains] that was in a parcel format.”
He adds the police and health officials when to KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday to fetch the missing bones.
Engelbrecht went missing last year October after his family reported him missing.
His employee, Sanele Msimang (26), confessed to his murder and was later arrested.
Hlathi says the 26-year-old appeared in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday has been sent for a mental evaluation.
