Updated | By Staff Writer
A man accused of murdering an 18-year-old prostitute and a 16-year-old girl from Mpumalanga is expected to appear in the Cape High Court on Wednesay.

The two teenagers were allegedly killed by Johannes Christiaan de Jager in January last year.
His counsel, Sakkie Maartens, told the court on Tuesday that De Jager and others would testify for the defence.
In Wednesday's proceedings, the State would recall a witness briefly, to clarify a technicality, and the defence's case wouldlikely start with De Jager's testimony, Maartens said.
De Jager has pleaded not guilty to numerous charges, including robbery and the rape and murder of prostitute Hiltina Alexander, and teenager Charmaine Mare.
