N3 pile-up death toll rises
The death toll has risen to three, after yesterday's multi-vehicle accident on the N3 freeway between Vosloorus and Heidelberg.
Ekurhuleni Community Safety spokesperson, Busaphi Nxumalo says four people remain in a critical condition.
"The road was finally cleared this morning at around 01:45."
The highway was closed for hours, after 6 trucks and 9 vehicles crashed due to poor visibility caused by a veld fire.
