Nine killed, five injured in Limpopo crash

Social workers from the Department of Social Development in Limpopo have been dispatched to Khubayana village outside Tzaneen to assist families of nine people who were killed in a crash on Monday.
On Monday night, a bakkie collided head-on with a minibus, killing nine people and leaving five others injured.
“The social workers will provide psychosocial support to the families of the victims and also the survivors who are receiving medical attention,” says the department’s Witness Tiva.

“They will also conduct assessments to all the affected parties to ensure that they cope well during this difficult period.”
