No kid gloves for Manana - Mbalula
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Police minister Fikile Mbalula has defended the police's decision to not immediately arrest Mduduzi Manana.

The deputy minister of higher education has been charged on two counts of assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm.
Manana is accused of assaulting two woman at the Cubana restaurant in Fourways at the weekend.
Footage of the ordeal has been widely circulated on social media.
Mbalula insists the minister is not above the law.
"Many have asked for a rush to arrest the suspect, but the law does not always work that way," Mbalula adds.
Manana handed himself over to the police on Thursday, five days after the alleged attack.
He has been granted R5000 bail in the Randburg Magistrate's Court.
