No loadshedding expected on Wednesday
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Eskom has confirmed that there will be no loadshedding on
Wednesday.
Spokesperson for the embattled power utility, Sikonathi Mantshantsha says while the system remains vulnerable, they have seen progress.
"Several units have returned successfully and good progress has been made in replenishing emergency reserves," adds Mantshantsha.
Eskom suspended the current implementation of loadshedding at 9 pm on Wednesday night.
Eskom implemented the system again in January, with loadshedding downgraded to Stage 1 this week.
However, South Africans have been warned to still expect the system to be implemented over the next 18 months.
