* A heatwave is expected over the North West and Mpumalanga, as well as Gauteng and Limpopo, where temperaturs are forecast to remain this high until Friday.

Gauteng: Very hot in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated afternoon shower and thundershowers.
