NPA ‘weakest link’ in protecting state from crime: SACP
Updated | By Neo Motloung
The South African Communist Party (SACP) says it is concerned that the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and other law enforcement agencies have not brought to book those implicated at the commission of inquiry into state capture.
SACP provincial secretary Jacob Mamabolo said there has been no action from the NPA to prosecute individuals at the center of state capture.
He described the inaction by the NPA as a contradiction to the work done by the Zondo commission.
“You are the weakest link in the chain of progress to defend our organs of the state.

The NPA’s Deputy Director of Prosecution, Billy Moalusi, accepted the memorandum of demands on behalf of the prosecuting body.
