Operation Dudula leader Nhlanhla ‘Lux’ Dlamini set to appear in court
The leader of Operation Dudula Nhlanhla ‘Lux’ Dlamini is expected to appear in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court in Friday.
He was taken in for questioning and arrested on Thursday.
Dlamini's arrest is related to a case opened against him at the Dobsonville police station.
“The person of interest who was taken in for questioning last night with regard to a housebreaking case in Dobsonville has been detained and is expected to appear before a magistrate’s court soon,” says police spokesperson Dimakatso Sello.

Earlier this week the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and a local resident laid charges against Dlamini at the the Dobsonville police station after members ransacked his house last weekend, allegedly looking for drugs.
Nothing was found in the house, but Victor Ramerafe says his property was damaged.
Lux’s arrest has drawn criticism from members of the Dudula movement, who lashed out on social networks and threatened to intensify their activities.
During an interview at a Johannesburg radio station on Thursday - Lux sought to clarify that he is part of joint operation which fights issues facing the community but denied that he is part of a vigilante group.
