Over 4 million adults in SA now fully vaccinated

The National Department of Health reached a milestone on Sunday of having fully vaccinating more than 4 million adults in South Africa against Covid-19.
New statistics released by the National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) show that 2 084 772 people have been jabbed with the single Johnson and Johnson shot, while 1 998 080 have been inoculated with a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
This brings the number of fully inoculated adults to 4 082 852.

The total number of Covid-19 vaccines administered in the country now exceeds 9 million.
Women represent close to 60% of the population that has been inoculated, while men represent only 40% of those statistics.
